· The great success of KTI-Plersch at the BIG 5 Show 2008
The BIG 5 Show, is a very important exhibition for KTI-Plersch because it helps the company practice customer and client care, especially as the Middle East market has helped KTI-Plersch grow by 40% yearly since 2000, to become the world’s nr 1 in concrete cooling.
To maintain this position, different decisions were made and announced during this year’s exhibition;
As a necessary step to expand this market position there is now a branch of KTI-Plersch (Dubai Branch). From January 1st 2009 onwards KTI-Plersch (Dubai Branch) will be fully operational in Dubai with its own warehouse, office and a huge number of service technicians. The aim of the branch office will be the after sales service for all KTI plants in the region as well as the spare parts service for it. This step was necessary to guarantee KTI clients a smooth operation of their plants.
Another important partnership was signed at the BIG 5 exhibition, to ensure KTI-Plersch a market share of 90% in the GCC. Together with their long term agent in Saudi-Arabia, KTI-Saudi was established with offices in Jeddah, Riyadh and Damman. KTI-Saudi will be responsible for the commissioning and the after sales service of all the KTI plants in the booming region of Saudi-Arabia.
Moreover contracts for big projects in Abu Dhabi and KSA were signed during this year’s exhibition.
Although the financial credit crisis is noticeable in the UAE market now, the future order situation for the world leader in concrete cooling is still looking promising.
